Following the Sacred Path
Inside the Hijrah Walk Route: Following the 470km Journey from Makkah to Madinah
The Hijrah Walk route takes participants on a symbolic journey inspired by the historic migration of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from Makkah to Madinah. Covering a 470km prophetic journey, the experience is designed to help participants connect with the history of Hijrah while reflecting on the faith, sacrifice, resilience, and trust in Allah that defined this extraordinary chapter of Islamic history. Rather than simply travelling between two sacred cities, participants are invited to experience the journey through walking, reflection, worship, learning, and shared moments of companionship.
Beginning in Makkah and concluding in Madinah, the journey combines time in the sacred cities with a guided desert experience. Participants spend three nights in Makkah preparing spiritually, followed by ten nights in the desert before a final villa stay and one night in Madinah. Support vehicles, professional guidance, meals, reflections, and organised logistics accompany the journey, allowing participants to focus on the spiritual significance of the route while experiencing the landscape and challenges associated with the Hijrah.
